These terms apply to purchases from the Ocean Material shop at shop.oceanmaterial.com. They explain how orders, delivery and customer support work. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Our products
The shop offers Ocean Material and Ocean Lover clothing and accessories. Product pages describe the material, dimensions, available variants and care instructions for each item. The brand’s wider work with recovered plastics does not mean every item in this shop contains recovered ocean plastic. Any such claim must be stated and supported for the individual product.
Screen settings can affect how colours appear. This does not limit your rights if an item is faulty, misdescribed or does not match your order.
Placing an order
Select your product, size and colour, then review the items, delivery details and total at checkout. You can correct your choices before placing the order. The final order button submits an order with an obligation to pay.
We will contact you if an item cannot be supplied. If we cannot fulfil an order already paid for, we will refund the amount due.
Prices and payment
The shop currently displays prices in US dollars (USD). Shipping charges are calculated separately at checkout. Review the final total and available payment methods before ordering. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion charges.
Changes to prices or terms do not retrospectively change an accepted order.
Delivery
Enter your delivery address at checkout to see the available shipping options and charges. Production and delivery times vary by product and destination. Contact us before ordering if you need an item by a particular date. If delivery is delayed or a parcel goes missing, contact us so we can investigate with the fulfilment provider. Your statutory rights concerning delivery and risk of loss remain unaffected.
Changing your mind
See our Returns & Refunds page for the applicable withdrawal period, how to notify us, return instructions and refunds. Standard colour and size choices do not automatically make an item personalised. Production after ordering alone does not remove a statutory withdrawal right.
Faulty or incorrect items
Please contact [email protected] if an item is damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered. Include your order number and a description of the issue; photographs can help us assess it. This request does not add a condition to your statutory rights. Where applicable, you may be entitled to repair or replacement without charge, or a price reduction or refund under the relevant consumer law.
Using this website
You may browse the shop and use it to make lawful purchases. Please do not interfere with its security or misuse other people’s information. Ocean Material names, logos and website content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Buying an item does not grant a licence to use our branding commercially.
Personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle order details, contact messages and optional newsletter subscriptions. Marketing consent is separate from your purchase.
Consumer protections and disputes
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded. These terms do not require consumers to give up the mandatory rights or courts available to them under applicable law. If something goes wrong, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
